• Event activities:
1) Keynote Address: 20-30 min about the importance of organization transformation in relation to today's
globalization and the impact elearning can have on that process.
2) Summary Review of 2007 survey data: 20 min. (They can read the details on their own. But the structure of our
summary review should provide the structure and rationale for the presentations that follow.)
3) Breakout Sessions: 2-3 hours. Each presentation would be presented at least twice to allow the greatest number of
attendees to see them. This may require extending past the morning session.. Current topic list:
— Knowledge versus Learning
— Content versus context (as related to effectiveness, cost, etc)
— Course Conversion Issues
— Server/network issues (constraints, bottlenecks, firewalls, etc.)
— Assessments: Why, How, When,...
— eLearning 101: What is it? How do you evaluate it? What can it do versus what can't it do, etc.
4) Exhibitors Area throughout the program.
