Description: Some "Charlie's" really were beggars. Some were enemy. Some were friends. And, some were all of the above. This "Charlie" was photographed just outside the U.S. Military Command Headquarters in Saigon while I was on assignment in Vietnam. From this outpost, he kept a close eye on the place for us—what a great guy.
